Reporting a wrong number

It helps to include:

• the page address, or the state and the pay amount you entered;
• the figure you think is wrong, and what you expected;
• where your figure comes from, such as a pay stub or your state's own calculator.

We check every report against the official source and fix confirmed errors quickly. Please don't send Social Security numbers, pay stubs or other personal documents: we never need them.
