About Paycheck Figures
Last updated October 2, 2026
Paycheck Figures answers everyday pay questions with real numbers: what an hourly wage comes to in a year, what a salary is per hour, and how much of it you actually take home after federal and state taxes. Everything is free to use and needs no sign-up.
Who runs it
Paycheck Figures is owned and operated by P36 IT Solutions LLC.
Where the numbers come from
Every tax figure comes from official sources: the IRS for federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare, and each state's revenue department for state income tax and payroll deductions. Each state page links to its source and shows when we last checked it, and the calculations are tested against amounts published by the IRS and every state. Our methodology page explains how it all works and what the estimates leave out.
Estimates, not advice
The figures are estimates of what an employer withholds from a typical paycheck. They are not tax, legal or financial advice, and your own pay stub may differ. For decisions that depend on your exact tax, talk to a tax professional.
